If you do however have a question that has not been answered, please feel free to contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible with an answer to your question.

Q. "Why would I have a bespoke tour instead of a Google Tour?"

Some businesses do not meet Googles Criteria for a Tour or may want areas photographed that can only be used or navigated in bespoke solutions. We can advise you on which tour type would be most suitable for your business.

Q. "Can I choose the areas that are photographed?"

A. Absolutely! We'll confirm with you the exact locations that you wish to include in your panoramas or tours.

Q. "What do we need to do to be ready for you?"

A. If the shots are indoors, please have the areas presented ready for photography at the agreed time. Exterior shots will be dependant on the weather as we like to capture your locations in fine weather to appear most inviting to your website's visitors, so in some cases we'll need to arrange another agreed time.

Q. "Do we need to be present for the photography?"

A. Providing access arrangements have been made and we have clear instruction on your chosen locations, you will not need to be present. However lots of customers like to see what the process involves so you are more than welcome!

Q. "How long does the photography take?"

A. Most photo shoots take 1-2 hours, but we will advise you if your shoot is likely to take longer at the time of the booking. A variety of factors may increase the length of time required for your shoot.

Q. "What kind of interface do the 360° Virtual Tours use?"

A. We use onscreen controllers within our tours to present information. All interface controllers are built in house at ambientLight and include only the options required for your tour, or any additional options you request such as maps, logos, hot-spots and other elements.

Q. "How do we get the tours onto our website?"

A. We provide simple code for embedding the tours into your site, and can work directly with you or your web developer in order to get your tours online.

Q. "How big are the virtual tour files?"

A. Files are usually between 1 and 2MB for a single location. This is largely dependant on the photographic content of the location and the size that the tour needs to be on your website. A tour embedded on a web-page that is not required to run full screen will be far smaller than one that does run full screen. With current broadband speeds most tours load in a few seconds.

Q. "What software or hardware is required to view 360° Virtual Tours?"

A. Our tours are built using Adobe Flash and HTML 5. Almost all of the visitors to your site will be able to view your tours via their web browsers such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari or Chrome, Tablets such as Playbook, Galaxy Tabs and iPad, or via most modern smart phones.
